Our leadership development strategy includes high school students. Through our Power Lunch program, our DLF Youth staff team is in high schools on a weekly basis to reduce classroom disturbances and in-school suspension, while also working to increase attendance and on-time graduation rates.

Many students who attend Power Lunch at Lake Highlands High School, Richardson High School, and Berkner High School also live in Hamilton Park, one of our longstanding target neighborhoods.

Students who participate in our Power Lunch program at Woodrow Wilson High School also live in the Jubilee Park and Owenwood neighborhoods, two of DLF’s target neighborhoods in East Dallas.
