Workforce Development

Workforce Development

For more than 25 years, Dallas Leadership Foundation has walked alongside Dallas families, neighborhoods, and partners to build the economic conditions communities deserve. That means more than stability — it means expanding access to living-wage careers, affordable housing, and financial resources so that a full-time job is enough to cover rent, put food on the table, and still have something left over.

Together, we work to ensure no one who shows up every day has to choose between keeping the lights on and keeping the family fed.

DLF's Workforce Development program meets people where they are — partnering with returning citizens, young adults, and residents in under-resourced communities who are ready to build careers that pay a living wage. Participants develop the professional skills that today's employers demand: communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, time management, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Through partnerships with employers in IT, warehouse logistics, insurance, HVAC, construction, and more, program graduates move directly into job training and career pathways — equipped and ready to compete.
