Workforce Development
Workforce Development
Dallas Leadership Foundation (DLF) refuses to stand back and accept hard-working families or individuals living at or below the poverty line while working a full-time job. Working in high poverty communities for the last 25 years, DLF helps neighborhoods reach economic stability through financial aid, affordable housing, and access to better paying jobs.
The Workforce Development program provides a job readiness curriculum created for reentry individuals, at-risk youth, and lower income neighborhoods who lack the skills and education to thrive in today’s workforce. They are taught soft-skills including working with diversity, time management, being a team player, and conflict management. They receive job training through partner organizations in IT, warehouse logistics, insurance, HVAC, construction, and more.
